Just got back from the Blazer Summer Fest Picnic. Got to meet Cho, very nice guy. He was being led out to the crowd to be interviewed by MB and I jumped out and practically mugged him. I asked if I could take his picture and when he said yes I handed the camera to Lanny and jumped beside him for the photo. Later on I got to talk to him and Larry Miller.

I 100% agree. But a team of nice guys needs someone like that.
 
Lanny (he posts on Oregonlive) with Cho and Larry Miller.

Right before I took the picture I yelled, "RIP CITY!" really loud.

You can see Cho starting to crack up, Larry Miller with the fist pump and Lanny feeling like Paul Allen. Great picture!

Got my picture with TP, but saw you beat me to Cho and figured he'd had a busy enough day to bother him for a 2nd. Got to actually chat with Schonley - that was worth the trip itself.

You saw that? When I asked him for a picture he didn't think I meant with me in it. He was really nice about it when I jump in there next to him.

I got to talk to Schonley and Porter. Two of my all time favorite Blazers. Such class. I've talked to Schonz at so many Blazer games but each time is special. Larry Miller is also a hell of a nice guy. Always happy to talk with fans.
 
Also I ran into Antonio Harvey and asked if he's fired his agent yet.

He started laughing and said no comment.

(Right after Penn was fired he was telling Wookie, and I that KP's job was safe and LaGerie is a nice guy. He knows that because LeGarie is his agent too.)

I reminded him what he had said earlier and he goes, "I know, Blazers have gotten rid of everyone connected to LeGarie!"

I told him he better get rid of him if he wants to keep his job and he said he's working on it.

Yeah, I was waiting over in that corner before they moved the interview setup to center court. I saw him come in, but most people there had no idea who he was.

SPD also met me, but I don't think he wants to admit it. I quickly bored him and he ran off and didn't look back. :)

I got a pic with Terry Porter, Mike Barret, and Cho as well. I'm going to post a thread with the pics later.

LOL! That's not true! It was great meeting you and the Cowboy story was awesome! I had to run off because my friend Lanny who invited me had the dinner tickets and was holding my spot in line. If I didn't leave I wasn't going to eat.

I came back over to talk, I was standing right next to you but your friend? son? was having Mike Barrett come over to say hi to you. As you were talking to MB that's when I saw Cho come over. I turned to go talk to him, mugged him for a picture and when I turned back around you had gone.

Anyway, it would have been great to talk more. Hope to run into you again.

I was just hoping to meet you there. I made it but not until 6:10 and you had hightailed it out of town already.

Ya, we left about at 6pm. Half way to the Suburban I almost had Ormond, my cousin btw, turn around when I heard there was going to be a pie eating contest! I would have stuck around, but I was in a lot of pain and that was after taking four percs.

he had to be prepared in case the Sly Sandwich lead anywhere.. unfortunately for him it didnt, and he had to call a doctor within 4 hours.
 
I was there. Saw mgb and slypokerdog. Almost said something to mgb when he was in line for the autographs, then decided to hold onto my anonymity. :devilwink:
