Anyone else outside of Dame, CJ, and Nurk can go, too - but these are the guys that HAVE to go. I won't be upset if Harkless and Vonleh are on the team next season, of if they're on another team. You can throw (I don't play with a sense of urgency) Harkless in there too.
Who needs to go?
Aminu, McGowen, Crabbe, Leonard, Stotts, Harkless, Davis, Olshey, Turner, Quarterman, Colabro, Connaughton, Hurd, Layman.
First guys to get rid of (ASAP):
Stotts
Turner
Next guys to move (before training camp):
Aminu
Ed
Move these guys by the 2018 draft (but sooner if possible):
Crabbe
Meyers
I'm so relieved that nobody is jumping to conclusions.

Some ppl may have but I haven't (or @ least I don't think I have; I've felt the following way for > a monthI'm so relieved that nobody is jumping to conclusions.
). Everyone can go/be traded except Dame, Nurk, Vonleh, & Napier. I'd like to keep Turner, Moe, & Layman; everyone else & picks should be used to get what we need but IF we have to (I like CJ BUT I'd rather lose CJ vs any of these 3 guys bc IF we gave up CJ, that should get us who we want or @ least most of the way there & then what we add to the deal wouldn't have to b 1 of these 3) use any of these 3 guys I've just mentioned to get a deal done, so be it.
Jimmy fills in all the gaps we're missing, brings crazy versatility, strength, & heart @ that position(s) AND enhances our team in every way! Jimmy is a leader, he's NOT THE leader (he's proven this in Chi., this is why when he's the leader, they can't make it all the way); w/ us, Dame IS our leader & Jimmy can be the ultimate sidekick (though I'd really look @ him as being more of another leader that just defers to Dame most of the time & steps up/in to lead when necessary).
). George IMO, is the easier target to acquire especially after just getting swept by the Cavs.I'm so relieved that nobody is jumping to conclusions.
This is historically the time when well thought out, logical, rationale and calm responses are burned at the stake.
Dude...No more excuses for Harkless!Harkless plays really well off Nurkic. We need a shooter but that is more because our offense calls for one. I like Stotts but it is much easier to change our offense (preferably) or even ultimately the coach (down the line) then to get rid of as many players as everyone wants to because they don't fit right.
Uh, ok. Not sure where the excuse was but...Dude...No more excuses for Harkless!
I would disagree with your assertion about Crabbe having a great year. He shot well from 3. Aside from that, no. Now I wouldn't attach a pick to ship him off for nothing. However if there's a team out there interested in bringing him in for a small return (a pick or a younger, unproven player), I'd definitely be intrigued.Hmmm. Not sure I see the logic here. I'm also guessing most of you do not invest in the stock market.
Stotts: when Nurk was healthy Stotts was coach of the month and both offense and defense looked amazing. Can't imagine a scenario where he isn't given another year to see if he can make that work for a whole year.
Biebs and Crabbes: I'm frustrated by both also. But, you don't increase the overall value of the team by having a fire sale of players at their low point. Crabbe was having a great year up until the playoffs--give him some time to rebound. Biebs is a tall athletic guy who can shoot--no, I don't want him on the team long term--but, I would like to see him play without a busted shoulder and hip, at least to increase his trade value to someone who thinks he has potential.
Some of you guys want to turn us into the Orlando Magic.

As for Leonard, I believe that his presence on the roster hurts the team, both in a present and future sense. Or in the terms you used, while I'd like him to be able to increase his trade value, I think it's more likely that any other player in that slot would appreciate in value more than Leonard will in the same amount of time. Sometimes, you have to simply accept the sunk cost of a devalued asset and divest yourself thereof rather than allow the asset to continue to depreciate. IMO, that's where we're at with Leonard. If we could somehow convince the Kings to give us Koufos in exchange for Leonard and a pick (for example), I think it would be a great move for the franchise.
I hope their GM thinks similarly to some of their posters; they value Harkless and Leonard about the same! Here's a post from Sactown Royalty (the Kings' version of Blazers Edge) talking about the possibility of trades that would be of value for us. Suggests that they might be interested in Leonard in a salary dump, as well as possibly a trade-back (10 for 15/26). Also 205 comments worth of Kings fan reactions, so perhaps worth a look for an outsider's perspective.
