FG Pct - 39.9%
I got him for a very reasonable rate on my fantasy team as well. People were taking players like Andray Blatche and Yi ahead of him.
You talking about our league?
Because in ours he went for 20 bucks, Blatche went for 17, Yi for 1.
BUT HE'S SLOW AND WHITE!
Imagine how humbling it is for all the black players out there. Love has done something that none of them have been able to do in over 30 years!BUT HE'S SLOW AND WHITE!

BUT HE'S SLOW AND WHITE!
Just a good player on a bad team padding his stats![]()
BUT HE'S SLOW AND WHITE!
Didn't Rony Seikaly get 30 boards once? I think it was against the Wizards, who were starting Tom Gugliotta at center. Or something.
[Edit: actually, Seikaly got 34.]
But he only scored 12 points.
Dennis Rodman had five 30 rebound games in his career, but only scored in double figures in two of them.
Kevin Willis had two 30 rebound games during the 1991-92 season and scored at least 20 points in both (20 PTS, 33 REBS and 29 PTS, 31 REBS).
Charles Oakley had a game with 35 rebounds and 26 points, but it came in a loss.
Here's a list of the thirteen 30 rebound games since 1986-87.

Nice post! Haters are going to hate.
After two and a half quarters today and 24 minutes of playing time, Love is at 12 points and 12 rebounds. As long as Rambis plays him more than 20 MPG, Love is going to lead the league in offensive rebounds (not even close) and RPG. He's got a wide body, he knows how to box out and is incredibly aggressive on the glass. Plus he plays for a team that is going to miss a LOT of shots, which means more opportunities for offensive rebounds.
His current rebound rates (ORB% = 17.6, DRB% = 34.0. TRB% = 25.2) are just insane. Just to give you an idea how impressive these numbers are, last season, before he got he hurt, Greg Oden was leading the league in both ORB% at 15.6 and TRB% at 21.9.
I know he's generally considered an ass clown and the article is filled with his usual amount of hyperbole and "flare" for the sensationalistic, here's an interesting take on Kevin Love from Peter Vescey.

Love finished with "just" 22 and 17. Surprisingly, as he played 40 minutes, getting "only" 17 rebounds may actually hurt his rebound percentage stats. He pulled down only 5 ORB, below his season average of 5.5.
Telfair also had a pretty good game, 18 points and 8 assists on 6-9 shooting.
Darko is still Darko; 2 points and 2 rebounds on 1-7 shooting.

Funny thing about Love is he's not even being utilized right. He thrives in an uptempo system.

And Minnesota loses yet again...
And Minnesota loses yet again...
The last two games alone should dash any teams hopes of convincing Kahn to deal Kevin Love.
Even David Kahn isn't that stupid...
Fuck. Love just went down with a knee injury. Doesn't look too serious though. We'll see.
