From Indy Star.

Granger (partially torn right foot tendon) won't play in Sacramento tonight but could be back against the Blazers or Clippers, O'Brien said.

Even if he does come back he'll probably be rusty and they've been playing well without him.

we should be able to beat a healthy Pacers team regardless at home

I want all the teams we face to be at full strength. We tend to play to the level of our competition and I want to play at as high of a level as possible. Also, I don't want any excuses. To be the best you have to face the best.

i doubt hes back tomorrow but it would be our luck. granger KILLS us every time.

That's the most optimistic post from you I've ever seen. Are you sure you're not an imposter? The real MIXUM would have posted...
I know he'll be back tomorrow. Granger KILLS us every time.

I love Granger's game so much. Since last year i've really wanted him, but he obviously blew up (not literally) this year and is probably untouchable. But I wouldn't mind if he comes back, because... 1) I enjoy watching him and... 2) We should beat Indy with or without him.

He was the Brandon Roy of that draft. He slid because he waited to enter the league at 22 from UNM. He was perceived to be really solid in all aspects of the game, but his perceived upside was limited. I think we've learned our lesson.

Have we? Wasn't the same said about Brandon Rush, whom we traded for Jerryd Bayless' limitless upside?

Well, there's no rule, really. You shouldn't avoid polished players as a matter of course, nor should you avoid projectible upside guys as a matter of course. It depends on each case. Brandon Rush (unlike Brandon Roy) wasn't all that impressive a collegiate. He may have been a mature, polished player, but he wasn't remarkable. Roy was a pretty remarkable player...if he had also been perceived as having more upside, he'd have likely gone #1.

Rush looks awful this year. Even without knowing where Bayless ends up, I feel pretty sure that that deal won't be regretted.

100% correct. He had a great skill set coming out of college, and I knew he would definitely be a player in the league, but even now his scoring ability is really quite impressive.

Either way, I think we win tomorrow.

The pacers kill us every time. We have lost nine straight to them. I do see Brandon taking over and making sure they don't get number 10.

Granger is NOT listed in the active line-up as of right now!
