Gutsy win by the BLazers and they deserve credit.... even though Rudy did everything he could to lose taht game. Heres all you need to know about Rudy.. when he came in they got the lead down from 24 to 7. Thanks for coming. Do I need to say anymore? Its like turnover, awful defense, off balance jumper (that he would miss on 2 legs) and another turnover. He should even play. Bayless who suddenly sucks as well at least gets free throws. Anyone who wouldnt trade Rudy needs their head examined or are drinking kpee kool aod along with a mixture from jason quick. THIS GUY SUCKS! How can anyone not trade him for Butler or Haywood? Thats laughable.

And kpee has already called it a season as i feared. What a freaking pussy that guy is. Really cant stand him anymore. Hes best friends with every player including worthless ones and is not capable of making a solid trade. Now hes ok with missing the playoffs. Why? Cause the fans (like the ones who post here) let him be. They dont demand anything but "next year" which is for losers. I mean how can you not read that piece quick wrote and wanna puke in pritchards face? "Roy doesnt want trades". Really Kev? Could taht be cause Outlaws his best friend? Tell Roy to start playing and they make judgement calls. Cause right now hes a cheerleader. Does kpee not watch us get killed by any team with legit centers? I just hope the players know that all the hard work and effort tehy gave this asshole was for not. What a scum bag. Howard should throw that bucket in his face.

In case you need to be reminded

My advice to you is to stop posting until they're both gone.

Interesting link there.

Last year was the unique opportunity with LaFrentz, not this year.

He believes wrong.

They could fight better if they had better players.

So he is too untalented to bargain down the offers. And I hope this prevents the usual claim from Pritchard defenders that all past possible trades were only rumors.

Is he mentally unstable? Make a decision and stick with it, you dolt! Is he incompetent to act upon his decisions, or is he incompetent to decide in the first place?

That makes 3 players expressing their trade opinions. Who cares what they think? Is Pritchard the boss or not? Bob Whitsitt was too busy to hang around the boys. Pritchard should get busy like him.

Wrong, wrong. Joel will never be the same and Greg is 50-50 to become reliable.

That paragraph makes me want to vomit the $1.99 breakfast I just ate. And it was good. The team cancer is the Oregonian.

See above about Joel and Greg, you conundrum-challenged coward-chicken.

Hear that, Pritchard defenders? It wasn't all rumors. But you'll keep saying it was.

The last two will be gone. His mind should be at a far deeper level of detail than this. But as he said, he has only gone through the feeling-out stage, not any negotiating, because he's indecisive.

There should be no such class system. He should give thought to any offer. This is as much detail as the average fan gives trades. He should be in a far more detailed mode of thought.

Again, does any other team allow players to talk about trades? No, because the GM is the leader there.

Yes, it's clear that all team progress is due to McMillan, not him, because he equates his job with gambling. We need to replace this guy with a talent evaluator good enough not to gamble. Can you imagine if McMillan threw up his hands at every gametime deadline, saying, "All it's about is winning a championship. So I just can't bring myself to gamble my future chips. I'm going to start all the rookies and not worry about this year, since they'll be the ones who win us the championship. Look at this list of players. Circle the ones you would start tonight. See how hard this is?"

I call bullshit. No way was that $1.99 breakfast "good."

MIXUM, if KP does indeed make a deal, and it backfires, would you STFU, or would you whine like a little bitch about that too?

no i would applaud him for going for playoffs and not lame excuses

trade rudy

I haven't heard anything about RJ being available. I haven't even heard of the Spurs even looking at trading at all.
I don't have time now to find the link but I read a snippet on realgm that the Spurs would love to move his contract at the deadline but are very unlikely to find any takers. I don't know how legit it is but he's playing at a below average level (a "PERS" of ~12) with suspect defense and a huge contract, so it's not too hard to believe.

Mixum and Mediocre Man ought to meet up at a rest top in the middle of the night. Serious chemistry.

I haven't read all of this thread, but is somebody actually advocating trading for Dick Jefferson??? That would be a HUGE mistake!

Then don't.

You should really try to find something in your life you can be positive about. It's done wonders for me. I found I'm positive you'd complain about the color of the ink on the check if you won the lottery.

Just to clarify, some of you do understand that "trade" does not equal "giving up value for a half season rental"...right? There are other types of trades.

I can't stay on the board late anymore. I'm going to start going to bed earlier. The gravy and biscuit is only from 7 to 10 am.

Brandon Roy and Travis Outlaw are BFF's (Best Friends Forever) so Outlaw will never get traded. Paul Allen thinks Rudy will be an All-Star someone so Rudy will never get traded.

Every time a thread about Pritchard comes up, someone says, well what exact trade was (is) available (now, or when we had LaFrentz, or whenever). Can't just rely upon an old thread in which many posters had read the same thing.
OK. If only you addressed my actual post... Believe me, I was very disappointed when the trade deadline passed without anything, but in hindsight, signing Miller was a better move than trading for Jefferson or Carter. He's playing better this year than both of those, and we didn't have to give up any assets. Had we traded RLEC+... for either of them, we wouldn't have had cap space to sign Miller. Oh yeah, and Miller has had to to do quite a bit of adjusting too, so don't say RJeff and VC are still adjusting to their new teams.

We don't know what trades are out there, but if we're only talking about expiring players like Haywood than I understand why we don't make a move. But what about trading for a good player who has a couple to several years left on his deal (Butler)?? All of KP's rational for not trading away players has to do with not "mortgaging the future", but I haven't heard him comment on getting a good player who could be around for years to come.
