On Feb 1st, Jiangsu Dragons, the CBA team issued an official announcement that the contact between team and Oden has been terminated. Last night, Jiangsu lost 104-106 to Sichuan, and they officially missed the playoffs after this game. Two games left before the regular season end. This season, Oden played 25 games for Jiangsu, averaging 13 points, 12.6 rebounds and 2 blocks per game. http://bbs.hupu.com/15414079.html

Oh how the mighty have fallen.

At least he has a career in porn if this basketball thing doesn't work out

China is just not a fun place for a rich African American athlete like Oden...he'll never learn! Hope he didn't hurt anyone while drunk again

Damn you, your post wasn't showing up when I posted! Sly, what's the cost to get my post time bumped back 3 minutes?

you forgot..."And wait! If you act now, I'll ban not one, but 2 posters for no extra cost!" Call now..1 800 dog deal! Operators are waiting for your call!"

I can be bought but I'm not a whore.

Funny. I'd almost forgotten about him completely.

What a strange chapter in Blazer basketball.

Chinese food makes everyone but Chinese people super fat. Even real Chinese food.

I just watched some preseason clips of him playing and he looked pretty good for the Dragons. Then I watched some highlights of his first real game for them and it looked like he had gained 40lbs.

He actually seemed like he could play if he was in shape.

Seems like a cost cutting move once they were out of playoff contention?

Sounds like "Stay away from my sister" to me. They didn't just let him go...they cut off all contact
(yes, this is a rumor and in no way connected to any proof or knowledge on my part)

Did CJ McCollum's brother score like 125 points in a game in China once?

I love this chain of comments!

Those numbers in the Chinese league aren't in the same postcode of what an NBA level player would put up tbh. Most fringe NBA players put up absurd numbers in that league.

He also probably has a 3 inch, 60 pound advantage on most guys over there. You're right.

That would probably be a very conservative estimate there.

He wasn't talking about his height.

Still conservative

Being sober might help as well.
