so you're saying God is like duct tape
impossible to prove? No, he's saying god is a female's orgasm.
Not an infinite number of galaxies, but a very very large number.
I say infinite. unlike a video game I don't see the universe having some invisible wall when you get to it. Galaxies within galaxies within galaxies.I'm not willing to say that for certain, but I do suppose that is the current consensus opinion of Physicists.

People can't even begin to wrap their head around the universe so instead the number one important thing is selfies and outrage over nonsense
That's what I mean, nobody truly knows. My opinion is it's infinite, but nobody knows, I don't even think we can begin to even fathom how insane the universe is. A lot of it is more questions than answersThe current hypothesis is 100-200 billion galaxies in the "observable universe", which begs the question, what about what we can't observe? Also, there are some other crazy theories out there, multi-verse, string etc. that make it impossible for me to make any assumptions on whether or not the universe is finite.

Well didn't you know everybody FOR SURE knows everythingCrandc knows though.
I am a piece of meat floating through spaceIt's amazing to me that we can see images we've never comprehended before....Quantum Physics is sort of the Taoism of science...anything is possible..like the Tao.....what we humans can perceive to begin with is limited to our senses...everything we can photograph now could just be abandoned debris from a larger entity...sort of like a ferret can only see about 6ft in front of his nose and now can see 60 miles...
Kilgore Trout found god to be a cockroach after searching the universe .....I think it was Venus on the half shell.....But duct tape is like the force. It has a light side and a dark side, and it holds the universe together. Therefore, given the transitive nature of the "like" relation - God is like the Force. Which is what George Lucas has been trying to tell us all along.
I was told, and take it as a given that God is a she. From here, I think it is very likely that God wears a golden bikini.

Since the largest prime number known has 17,425,170 digits, then we could logically reason there could be this many galaxies without doing the impossible of trying to approach infinity.Crandc knows though.

Who cares if there is wall of weed haze beyond?
Or just accept infinity at face value and make the universe a non count noun....weed haze and all...you could own thousands of acres and still only use an acre of it in the endSince the largest prime number known has 17,425,170 digits, then we could logically reason there could be this many galaxies without doing the impossible of trying to approach infinity.

Their next movie....Weed haze beyond merging black holesCheech and Chong
For the first time ever, astronomers at The University of New Mexico say they've been able to observe and measure the orbital motion between two supermassive black holes hundreds of millions of light years from Earth - a discovery more than a decade in the making.
UNM Department of Physics & Astronomy graduate student Karishma Bansal is the first-author on the paper, 'Constraining the Orbit of the Supermassive Black Hole Binary 0402+379', recently published in The Astrophysical Journal. She, along with UNM Professor Greg Taylor and colleagues at Stanford, the U.S. Naval Observatory and the Gemini Observatory, have been studying the interaction between these black holes for 12 years.
"For a long time, we've been looking into space to try and find a pair of these supermassive black holes orbiting as a result of two galaxies merging," said Taylor. "Even though we've theorized that this should be happening, nobody had ever seen it until now."

A great contrast in Presidents Sly.
That statement by Kennedy about why we go to the moon, always struck me as classic use of emotional string pulling to arouse support. Actually the stand alone statement offers no logic, is is simply a pure emotional appeal. It worked very well at the time. But it does not offer any reason to continue the effort long term. Bye Bye NASA. Kennedy was an ESFP emotional decision maker.
Donald Trump I think is an ESTP doer. Probably very strong on the T vs the F, to the point of often mocking Feeling or appealing to those that do not like to see Feeling/emotion rule.
You could be right. So it's a lot like "Make America great again!"
