Funny/weird Lake O police story: I lived there 20 years ago when I first moved here. One day, some teenagers cut me off while driving so I honked at them. 20 minutes later there's a knock at my door. It's the LO police. "Did you honk at someone?" he asked. "Yes," I said. "We don't do that in Lake Oswego," he replied.

They came to my house to tell me not to honk my car horn.

Moved 3 months later!
I did that about four days ago. The occupants threw something that made a loud wham. Now we've got a faint dent in our rear door. Probably threw a beer bottle. I would have told the police off right there if they said that to me. Lake Oswego once had a chief of police that was a childhood friend of mine. Lived half a block from me. I was drinking one night. Drove home and got about half a block from my old house when a patrolman stops me and says I was driving too fast. Hadn't seen Leslie Dunbar in about 20 years so I wasn't sure if it was him until years later. He let me go.

FUCK!

Bad news on my covid test.

I passed. It means I have to come home tomorrow.

We would have done well with our travel insurance if I had tested positive. Could have stayed 5 more days for free.

Wow! What wonderful memories and very interesting and fascinating journeys! I want to read about your experience in more detail. I've been dreaming of going to Mexico for a long time, but for now, it's quite expensive. I live in Istanbul, but I like traveling, so I travel a lot in Europe. Recently, for example, I used the free walking tour Budapest and got an unforgettable experience from it. Such free tours are organized in other European cities, which is worth taking advantage of. Is there a similar practice in America?

Oh, Sly never returned from that trip. It’s rumored that he was eaten by a croc, but I hold out hope he was taken captive by a group of Amazon women and now serves as their sex slave. He was replaced here by a bot in March. No noticeable change in performance. ;)

Welcome, newb. In case you haven’t noticed, this place is weird.

Seriously, can you imagine if that happened way back when this civilization was in it's prime?? I'd 100% think it was the gods.

Yeah, everyone would be like the Gods have spoken!

We went there for our honeymoon 19 years ago. I have a size 13 foot. I would say the stairs were about half the size of my foot. Took a LONG time for me to get down from up there. Scary shit!

Do you keep that foot in a glass jar in formaldehyde?
