It's not that kind of drug problem. Interventions are for people who can be reasoned with. My brother in law can't be reasoned with. He's the kind of person who hears voices. He has brain damage from bad shrooms. The guy is on social security because he cannot get a job and he can't take care of himself. He has the social skills of a child, but he's the size of a linebacker and he's violent.

As I said, my in laws have tried everything. They have tried to get him into specialized programs. They have tried to have him committed to hospitals. Nobody will keep him. The cops don't want him until he commits a felony. They just keep giving him probation.

You are plotting the overthrow of our government while increasing the probability of more murders.

And you are taking no action at all against murderers, or even likely future murderers. Instead, you chase red herrings and strawmen.

Here are constructive steps to decrease even further our murder rate, which has decreased steadily since the 60's. It is currently less than half what it was when I was a child.

1. Outlaw murder. - Did that.

2. Arrest all murderers. - Roughly 40% now because we waste LEO dollars on pot, SWAT gear and fancy cop cars.

3. Convict all murderers. - Stop plea dealing. Hired killers walk in exchange for naming their employers ALL THE TIME. Mandatory death sentence for hired killers And those who hire them.

4. Imprison all murderers for life or execute them. - Close to 1/3 of all convicted murderers serve less than 5 years in prison.

5. Never parole or pardon any murderers. Ever.

That said, I'm not sure how it's an insult as it's pretty clear slypokerdog is clueless about the topic he raised, fucking notwithstanding.

What terminology would you suggest for pointing out the flaws that arise when posters don't know what they are talking about?

It all depends on intent. Just how well do you know Rasheedfan? Have you met him? I haven't. He might have a foot fetish. Sucking on Hobb's toes might be something he enjoys. To consider that a personal insult would be making assumptions about Rasheedfan that I would rather not.

Just like if you were to say Fuck You to me. While I am straight and very comfortable with my sexuality I would take that as an offer of you wanting to have sex with me. While flattered, I would just never swing your way. But it would also be wrong say that sex with you would be insulting. I've only met you once, and like I said, I'm straight, I'm sure you would be very good at pleasuring a man.
 
Seriously Sly, when an idiot posts utter nonsense and then expects it to be debated as if it is a rational view, it benefits all involved to point out his/her error before we waste time with a flawed assumption.

Saying I support The Second Amendment but why don't we ban certain guns, register gun owners, track ammo purchases... is no different than saying I support Freedom of Speech but why don't we lock up black people when they pop off about white privilege.

Same exact absurdity, same exact anti-American and UnConstitutional stand, same exact fucking cluelessness on the part of the poster.

I appreciate when someone educates themselves on a subject, and still has questions. Happy to debate.

When it's obvious someone is too lazy to study the most basic American History, but throws out obviously stupid questions, they need to have reality presented to them.

People are different in person than they are on a message board.

I've met probably 50 people from this board over the years and nearly all of them are more mild-mannered, non-confrontational in person. Many of them I can't even match to their board names.

For instance, I never talk politics or religion with my friends or at the dinner table. Never.

Haven't for over 30 years.

Wrong again. I was in the Army where I was in combat.

I've owned guns since 1959. I own two right now, one of which uses ammo I load (Sierra boat tails and Dupont powder). Sako 270, with a Leopold 3X9 scope. The other is a shotgun.

I'd like you to know that I think you are the King of insulters!

Serve in combat and then get back to me.

No, it's a useful suggestion because it affects dangerous people very very unlike you and me and not you and me.

I'll bet that like me you are a one shot one kill guy. Why do these guys want magazines that hold over 20 rounds? Okay, some like to target shoot but it's a small price to pay to save several typically defenseless lives.
