in the famous quote of AI "Practice?"He destroyed all stars in practice. He was a proven talent
Could be, however when they traded Jermaine he was playing behind several legit bigs on the team. But you are right in that maybe they are not wanting to wait to see how things pan out?I wonder if this was kind of the discussion before trading Jermaine O’neil for dale davis
I was being sarcastic. Everyone here uses that excuse for our tall white guys
Do you give him any credit for acquiring the Beast and or a trade for Gabriel. How about getting Whiteside when we needed a 5?Can you believe NO did it twice though? First he blew a pick on Leonard and then did it again with Collins after Leonard didn't work out.

Drafts for most teams are hit and miss.
I realize that he possible has missed on a couple bigs in the draft, but he has done ok with acquiring Nurk and Gab. Still to early on if Collins is a bust, I dont think so in fact he's going to be a solid role player and defender if he overcomes injuries. We're talking about the draft... why would I talk about Whiteside/Nurk/Gabriel?

Now you are gonna compare Zach to Oden? You sound like me after the first couple Oden injuries. Keep the faith, brother!
Yes. When you have all stars saying they are getting destroyed in practice, it means somethingin the famous quote of AI "Practice?"
No, it's just that I really did say that about Oden. I want Zach to be good (and actually thought he showed flashes of real promise in the bubble), but I'm gunshy at this point. Now you are gonna compare Zach to Oden?
Wow?
good ?I wonder if we would have really been any worse this season with Harkless and Leonard as opposed to Whiteside.
That's what Dame says about Simons.Yes. When you have all stars saying they are getting destroyed in practice, it means something

He played 11 games. And we won 8 of them.
- The guy plays with oven mitts on his hands.
- He goes up soft and constantly gets blocked in the paint.
- He can’t stay on the court due to foul trouble or injury. The best ability is availability.
11 games is not a big enough sample size.He played 11 games. And we won 8 of them.

The funny thing is; I suspect Olshey took Collins over a guy like Adebayo because he thought Collins was more NBA ready! That's the whole problem. It's way too soon BECAUSE HE'S A MASSIVE PROJECT.
We didn't need a project. We needed a rotation player.
Jabari Smith was supposed to be an NBA-ready shooter/defender and some people expected him to be chosen #1.The funny thing is; I suspect Olshey took Collins over a guy like Adebayo because he thought Collins was more NBA ready!
Actually I been watching Collins this year and he been solid all year and it's not major set back he out 4-6 weeks. But his stats is best of his career.I really thought zach would be good. Dude just broke his leg. Some playerd are made of glass. He was showing flashes....
Damn Neil, we have 3 first round picks that year and he blew it.because he saw him play one game and that was all he needed to see:
#13 Donovan Mitchell
#14 Bam Adebayo
#19 John Collins
#23 OG Anunoby
Thanks Neil

He has tools and talents but he makes anthony davis look like the iron man.Actually I been watching Collins this year and he been solid all year and it's not major set back he out 4-6 weeks. But his stats is best of his career.
Yes he has some bad luck and hopefully this is minor sit back.He has tools and talents but he makes anthony davis look like the iron man.
