I'll probably rent it eventually. One of my friends stayed up for the midnight release at gamestop lol.
 
My kids pre-ordered it thru Best Buy and I'm picking it up for them on my way home from work today.

Btw, anyone interested in Medal of Honor? I remember playing the originals on ps1 and loving them, plus the beta was ok. If they make some improvements from it, i'll have to seriously consider buying it over Black Ops. (lol i talk about buying a fps other than COD every year and never do)
 
I went to a Halo party last night. Some old buddies, old tradition... lots of Halo. Problem is, I don't own a 360, haven't played Halo in years, and now I suck at that game. There's some cool additions, like jet packs and huuuuuuuuge maps, but it seems just like the last couple halo's to me.
 
I will be getting it eventually. Right now I'm addicted to madden, so I'm not gonna rush into getting another new game.
 
Btw, I just can't get into Halo. Futuristic/fantasy stuff just doesn't spark my interest. I like realism.

I hear ya.. thats how I feel about the COD's (not the Modern Warfares) but the World War I and II stuff just doesnt do it for me. Although I did thouroughly enjoy Nazi Zombies.

Just depends on tastes I guess. I just love how many different Customizable game modes and all the different options you can have. LOVE Forge by the way.

Actually not too intrigued by the Halo story, its the multiplayer that kicks ass. I think that's the main reason why the game sells so well.
 
Dammit, i just preordered Medal of Honor, more money down the drain...

Hey Wheels, does this game have single player co op? I don't think i can stand the obnoxious 12 year olds for the multiplayer, but maybe i can play that.

I assume by single player co-op you mean can it be played online with other friends? if thats the question then yes. You can also do co-op via split screen not on live.. if thats what you meant by the question.

I liked the multi player beta quite a bit. I put five bucks down so I could gain access to it, so now I have to buy it :)

Just Pre-Ordered Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 and NBA 2K11! So I'm all stocked up on games for the next several months.

I'd love to get a PS3 just so I can play NCAA football games, but if I did I'd never have time for anything else, and I'd have broken controllers galore :)

I cant do PES... I have tried. So I had to pre-order FIFA. but yeah same here. Halo, Fifa, NBA 2k11.. I am set for a while.. or so my wife says lol.

PES's nex gen has sucked. The demo just came out and is a vast improvement (PES fanboys say that every year;) over the most recent versions.
Plus it has the Copa Libertadores license!!! I'll likely buy FIFA next year when the Timbers are included.

yeah I am bummed about the Timbers not being in it.. although I love that you can create teams and kits, and crests now. And the add chant thing I think is a brilliant Idea. I just had to do it. But yeah, I want that cup license in fifa lol.

ah yes. Online Co-op Campaign can be done... I believe up to 16 people can be on it. Custom Games are some of the most fun times I have had on Halo as well.

Yeah, i thought the beta was pretty good, but could have some improvements made, which i'm sure it will between now and when it is released.

I'm going to be flat out broke, getting Nba 2k11, Medal of Honor, Fallout New Vegas, Fable III, and possibly Black Ops to close out the year.
