Today is The Glide's birthday. Clyde Drexler was my childhood hero and I don't really care about his affinity for his hometown, he's still neck and neck with Dame as the best player in our team's history.

Thank you for being a class act and entertaining so many of us Clyde. Happy Birthday!

Always interacted with me with class and grace. So much a gentleman. His physicality on the court is sometimes forgotton. For his lack in some areas and his frog-legged jumper (that is a good story itself), he was so physically gifted that he could often make up for those flaws. When he was above the rim, there was little 99% of the NBA could do to slow him down.

That he STILL is the team leader in assists from the SG spot is tremendously underrated to me.
