Late to this post. I am glad you had a good one have many more.

At 28 I made a conscious decision to stop aging.

And while you're ripping on my guy Sharpton, you better HOPE you look this good when you're 64:

My mom just turned 61 and looks way younger than Sharpton. I think I'll give him a run for his money myself in 24 years. Won't be able to hold a candle to you though. #babyface

Hmmm....

1. Do you have a sister?

2. Does she like dogs?

2. She's a major animal lover, one of those "meat is murder" types.

Sounds like my lovely sister-in-law. She is one of the sweetest people on the planet, but she just can't abide the thought of animals being slaughtered for human consumption. When my darker side comes out and I want to tweak her sensibilities, I point out that I could never be so heartless as to go off meat. If everyone did, there'd be no reason for farmers to raise those animals so they'd likely be driven to near extinction. Yeah, she doesn't buy that argument. Then I go with the, every vegetarian is about three days without food from their primal instincts kicking in and devouring any source of animal protein that comes within grasp. She simply sniffs and says that she's just happy that she lives in civilized society and has other choices. My final play is the one I heard in a sermon at church where the speaker was talking about the attitude a vegetarian waitress gave him at a restaurant one time. He pointed out that whereas only one steer was slaughtered to provide many steak meals, it took thousands of "wheat people" to create a loaf of bread. Told her she could go to a website called veggiescream.com and hear recordings of the sound of the wheat's slaughter as the combines ravaged them. She wasn't buying it until the busboy came by and said, "Yeah, I totally heard that on that site the other day."

I think a nice ribeye for the Labor Day barbecue sounds pretty good.
