You post on this message board when you're at church? You're a dirty dog.
. But I am still a dirty dog!LOL easter
Christians, you so funny.
Glad I amuse you
I have no qualms with the celebrating or whatever you wanna call it, obviously I just do with the religious overtones some people try to put on it. Also I got approached by like 3 Mormons and a Christian at the park yesterday. Annoying.
Not sure about where you are, but it's a beautiful day in Portland, and I hope you and everyone else enjoys it.
It's interesting until you read that he contradicted the scripture. He doesn't even give reference of the actual scripture.

I caught the norovirus. Worst easter ever. But it is kind of like a head start on my diet.

If truth exists, would you want to know it?HCP was raised in the church but haven't been back since he was 17. If people can use religion to make themselves better people, more power to ya'....... but don't come at me like any of it is real. Glad it's there for people in need though....... I know it's the reason some of my friends were able to turn things around.
The truth about what? The truth to me is, I work hard to take care of my family and I pay bills. I try to have fun in between. Is the truth that a snake made a woman take a bite out of an apple.......Did 2 of EVERY animal on earth fit onto a boat during a flood...........I could go on and on. Like I said before, if these "fictional stories" help people become sober or not do drugs or helps you become a better parent and human being, that's great and I'm all for it. But earth wasn't created in a week a couple thousand years ago FAMS.
Mags, your post kinda' confused me. I just know that people who live by and believe 100% in the bible think that that we've only been around a couple thousand years, right? Look, I don't want to offend anybody who is pro bible/religion....... but I just wish people would admit it is just a "story"..... it's not real. No different than The Lord of the Rings or other classic fictional books.
Happy Easter, everyone. Mine was fab.
So basically you're saying "No offense religious people, but I just wish you'd admit your religion isn't true"
Do you honestly in the year 2013 with the technology and facts that we have before us, believe the bible and it's stories inside (even though they almost all contradict each other) is historical truth? Really?

What does what year we are in have to do with what's true or not? The Bible even says that knowledge will increase and man will travel to and fro all around the world, but foolishness, pride, lust, hate etc. will as well which is happening as well. Each generation seems to get worse and more desensitized than the next. When will it stop? Do you believe evil exists? You seem to just go off of what you hear, I suggest you study these matters and even pray to God for him to reveal himself to you in some way.
No, the Noah story was supposedly 7,013 years ago. There was still man a few thousand years before that, according to genesis
