Feels terrible today. We’re supposed to be in VN right now handing out cash to a bunch of kids and people in need.

I thought it was the year of the Ox.
My wife called all her relatives to wish them a happy new year today.

Xin Nien Quai Luh! Happy New Year....year of the Bull....as if every year isn't the year of the Bull! Passing out Hong Bao...red envelops with money to the kids is a cool tradition but the food is the best! It was actually yesterday in Asia...today here in haole land

Lunar New Year is celebrated in three consecutive days (1st, 2nd, and 3rd) in VN.

The kids still got the money, but no doubt they miss their uncle and aunt from America.

In Taiwan pretty much late Jan through Feb everybody goes home...cities empty out...they take about 3 weeks off
