It was flying proudly at the Timbers game yesterday. It is. It recognizes the efforts of trans people and people of color (especially Sylvia Rivera and Marsha P. Johnson) who were key in starting the pride movement, and are key in maintaining it.

That's awesome! The progress pride flag (I believe that's what it's called) is pretty popular in Portland. It was flying proudly at the Timbers game yesterday.
Wish I was there right now! I love that island.I'm in Hawaii at the moment. There's a rainbow on every license plate!
The Big Island (my first time here) is definitely a mixed bag (in a very good way). Lots to see and do, so I'm glad we have 3 weeks. BG's place is at 2100 feet in elevation, so the temperature rarely gets much over 75, which is perfect. And the almost daily rain showers are a blessing rather than a nuisance (free water!). First day on the beach I got quickly fried despite sunblock, SPF clothes etc. So the more temperate location is nice......and it's only 20-25 minutes to Hilo. Still getting used to being addressed as "Uncle" by the locals, but it sure beats the usual "Asshole" label.......still have to get up to the volcano (both in the daylight and at night) and wherever else the granddaughters feel I need to see. But so far so good! I certainly get why people go for this lifestyle........Wish I was there right now! I love that island.
I lived very near where you're staying when my son was born...I've lived in several areas around Hilo....rainy season there is like Oregon. I like the Hamakua coast a lot..that whole island is a mountain range...glad you're getting to experience it.The Big Island (my first time here) is definitely a mixed bag (in a very good way). Yeah, I'm not getting what point is trying to be made here.Does this moron really think the purpose of Pride is to end straight marriage?
