Any Star Trek fans here? Are you guys upset you don't get a day?

It is crazy to me that Star Wars won the head to head battle ... at least it seems that way.
Meanwhile, the best sci-fi franchise has a cartoon coming out!
My cousin played dozens of aliens on that show. He's even on several collector cards.

Never got into Babylon 5.
Several. Easiest to spot him as a Minbari. He's the tall one to the right of centerFucking cool! Which aliens?
To each their own. Personally, I generally get frustrated with season-long story arcs. I always feel like my favorite shows get ruined when they veer away from episodic styling.Babylon 5 changed not only sci-fi but TV in general.
Original Trek and Next Gen were episodic, meaning alien/monster/bad guy of the week. The episodes were stand-alone, the conflict/problem shown at the beginning of the episode is fixed/resolved by the end.
The creator of Babylon 5 created a 5-year story arc before ever shooting one episode. Meaning these long stories and character development that run the course of the series. It's amazing writing that will pay off in different parts and ways throughout the series.
It's how Star Trek is now told in the new series, each season is a complete story arc, and Trek is so much better for it.
Interestingly enough, it's why The Wire is so much better than Law and Order. Each season of The Wire is a long complete story vs L&O where each episode is stand-alone.
