A day early, but for anybody else with work responsibilities or anything else finding themselves celebrating Thanksgiving today, or tomorrow.

I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving with whomever you spend it with. Wishing peace and prosperity to all of my Blazer FAMS brothers and sisters out there.

I’m know @crandc will always be the Thanksgiving meal G.O.A.T. She’s probably got Yams on Yams and Hams on Hams and Turkey on (I can’t think of something which rhymes with Turkey).

What are y’all doing this year?

Whatever it may be I hope you have a great one.

I for one am thankful that Wembanyama is not playing tonight… Go Blazers, clinch the group of death!!!

Nothing baby. We will drive the day after to see some family who is visiting their son in Pasadena. Glad to not deal with a TG dinner this year.

The wife and daughter will be down in Redlands,CA. Getting spoiled and stuffed by my favorite aunt and uncle. My son lands from LA tonight here and we’ll get some father/son/dogs/football time for the next few days really looking forward to it.
First thanksgiving I’m watching what I eat….should be interesting. Not going to NOT eat certain things to be honest….just going to walk the dogs a little extra this weekend. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you FAMS!

Man these sound great. Like a real classic Thanksgiving spread. Well rounded, delicious.

Crandc that vegan thanksgiving sounds much lighter but that classic thanksgiving meal I’m sure will be like soul food.

Same with you CC. The similarities and differences between them is awesome. Hope you both enjoy.

Your menu...both of them...sound amazing!

You cooking a turkey?

My favorite of all favorites though is some apple pie and an iced cold milk. As long as I get that, it’s all good FAMS!

I usually make apple pie but have wanted to make that cranberry tart for years. I have asked guests to vote on dessert in the past and they vote apple. I figure they will eat the cranberry tart. It's very pretty.

They will eat whatever you make because you are an amazing cook.

Have to have at least one disaster. Putting cheese tartlets into oven. Out in first pan but when adding second pan my wrist brushed hot metal rack and involuntarily jerked. Spilled cheese custard all over oven. I had extra custard so refilled and hastily wiped oven. Baked tartlets. After oven cooled scrubbed it back out.

Tartlets, both gravies, pecan pie, cranberry sauce, muffins, topping for sweet potatoes, nuts, all complete. Tomorrow start before dawn, make cheesecake, tart, dressing, salad dressing, custard for ice cream, rub salt on turkey. Friday make mac and cheese and clean house. Saturday morning put potatoes,.sweet potatoes and carrots in to slow cook. Prep broccolini. Have corn pudding ready to bake.
Sunday go into lunatic asylum.

Ouch! Hope your wrist is ok. I hate when that happens. Sounds like a good plan.
