No. He came around at the perfect time, just before the death of character and originality. And he had plenty of both. Lemmy is slang for "Lend me some money."Did he come along after the 50s or something? Name sounds like an illegal immigrant.
Beethoven was from 1770-1827 so I guess he just missed the cutLend Me Some Money or I'll Killya Mister?
I'm totally open-minded to music after the 30s, except for after the 40s.
The 30's and onward? What jazz?Lend Me Some Money or I'll Killya Mister?

Sly. Jazz died when Bill Evans kicked the bucket. But that's okay. If you watched Ken Burn's revisionist history of Jazz, he wasn't mentioned any way.The day the music died for @jlprk was when Glen Miller's plane was lost.

My final senior high school home basketball game we were lined up in front of our bench for the national anthem. I broke away from the team and ran over to the bleachers where I had hidden my bass and amp all plugged in and ready to go. Pulled it out and played Jaco's version of the Amerika/national anthem, harmonics and all.

Within a year of Jaco dying, a similar musician, a drunken Roy Buchanan was found "hanging" in his jail. (Although this likelhhood of him being able a knot through a slit in the window is zero.) Both were considered mavericks of the instrument (bass and guitar.) Both were mentally ill. The cops and the bouncer both got away with murder. The moral? #mentallyill-livesmatter

Fairfax was the first county in the United States to reach a six-figure median household income and has the second-highest median household income of any local jurisdiction in the United States after neighbor Loudoun County.[4][5] The county is home to the headquarters of intelligence agencies such as the Central Intelligence Agency, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, and National Reconnaissance Office, as well as the National Counterterrorism Center and Office of the Director of National Intelligence. The county is also home to ten Fortune 500 companies, including three with Falls Church addresses.[6]
