Harris Out Another 1-2 Weeks

Devin Harris was at Nets shootaround on Wednesday, but he’s not ready to play and it will be “a week or two before I can get on the court.” He has a Grade 2 sprain of his left ankle. DeSagana Diop, Maurice Ager and Trenton Hassell should be ready to go against the Bulls and Keith Van Horn may make an appearance at the arena.

Me too! I picked him up right quick when i found he got traded to the Nets....blah.

I actually think this is good for the Nets. Harris is the new floor general so he does have to know where players will be what they tend to do and all that. Plus he's the PG so he has to know the plays. Plus Marcus starting is a win-win. If he proves himself then good we have a good back-up and good competition in practice and if he blows then we know he can't run the team and it gets us closer to a lottery pick for the rebuilding. I'm excited to see how Diop does tonight I really think he's a sleeper in the deal.


Who knows, the last time we had a huge center from Africa we went to the Finals. Potentially Diop > Mutombo?????

It's great to see him talkin to DA. That's a solid PG I want to see Devin hanging around.
