There are plenty of people who criticize Mormons--many on this board, in fact. However, the Leader of the Senate criticizing the Republian candidate for political purposes? Disgusting. I think most Mormons would argue Mitt Romney was a better Mormon than Harry Reid.

I actually agree that Reid should not have said what he did. I agree with Reid's comments, but I would prefer those in important political positions keep attacks to issues that are more central to policy. If Romney were preaching his faith frequently like others have done, then their religion would become fair game, but neither Romney nor Obama have been overtly religious zealots.

This does not change anything for me, I still fully support Obama. Also, I have not been much of a fan of Reid for a long time, but I would rather have him then almost any Republican other than perhaps Bloomberg. By the way, I am atheist.
