The active ingredient in marijuana cuts tumor growth in common lung cancer in half and significantly reduces the ability of the cancer to spread, say researchers at Harvard University who tested the chemical in both lab and mouse studies.

"The beauty of this study is that we are showing that a substance of abuse, if used prudently, may offer a new road to therapy against lung cancer," said Anju Preet, Ph.D., a researcher in the Division of Experimental Medicine

That story's from four years ago. Doesn't it seem like we would have heard more by now if there was something to it?

That's bullshit. My dad was a habitual weed smoker since only god knows when, and they discovered a six centimeter tumor in his left lung. In fact, a more recent study shows that people over 50 increase their chance of heart disease by something like 4 times if they consistently smoke weed.

...as I have posted before, there are numerous other studies and research that backs up this information. Prohibition and ignorance is bliss

In a country where government and industry are both rabid anti-pot advocates/enforcers, with no actual free press, not at all.
