I am serious. Does this thing actually help someone?

After looking at the Exchanges and what is available in my area I am total appalled
Have been looking for a couple hours for the website to sign up for Civil war.
Can't find it but maybe I am a day early.

My mother had Kaiser coverage until I was 25. If she had not, I would have been without health insurance (until this law was enacted). But to answer your question, no I don't believe I have directly been helped.

The most obvious group is those with pre-existing conditions. There are certainly plenty of others, such as those too poor to afford insurance and, as Eastoff implied, whippersnappers.

For me, making insurance available to people with pre-existing conditions is huge. One big problem when you're young and you're out of luck.

The other big group is one that doesn't know it yet -- those who have big health issues on the horizon and get insurance because of obamacare, when they otherwise wouldn't have it.

I'm lucky and am doubly insured through my employer and my wife's employer, so I'm not directly impacted.

My employer is likely to reduced my benefits (higher deductible), so no.

I believe Zags had a situation that the provision allowing young adults the privilege to leach off of their parents insurance until far into adulthood..what, age 26..yeah.. oh, I stated it this way for Zags benefit..and I do jest

It's the first day of sign up. WELL IT HASNT HELPED ANYONE

You don't know of anyone hey! Well that's too bad. I know of 260,000 that it has screwed over.
Dang I wonder how man that will grow to become.
