Being that I live in NYC, I suppose I could go, don't know what it costs, but is it worth the train ride? Seems you get more info if you're watching on TV. Would you go if it was in Portland?

In '92 when it was held in Portland, I went to that one. Same year the Dream Team was put together and played games in Portland. Blazers Bulls Finals. Great year for hoops in little ol' Portland

The Russelo show discussed this today. Said it's really boring. Definitely a TV event.

I think nowadays with twitter and and streaming video being at the draft would fun as hell.

I took tomorrow off just so I can nerd out on the draft. I love that little jingle the TV makes when they have to update about a trade. Even if I already found out about the trade 3 hours earlier from someone's twitter.

It's like christmas for me. Favorite day of the year. Didn't get the whole day off but got approved for a half day only because i'm going to a retirement party at my last employer for someone and they want me recruiting some of my old colleagues. But i'll take it.

I wish I had the whole day off but Im not complaining since I'll have enough time to DESTROY trader joes before I get home.

As for the original post, I've never been nor would I ever go. Looks super boring and it seems like some of you have confirmed it.

I was living in NYC and went to the 1989 Draft at MSG. I'd say it was quite boring and of all things, the Knicks trade out of the 1st round with Portland! To boos as you might imagine.

I went to the Yao Ming draft. We got Qyntel Woods. It was fun as fuck at MSG. All basketball nerds.

Prob sucks at Barclays center. There was just something about it at MSG. No franchise players either so less exciting.

Parents had courtside seats to watch the dream team. I've told my mom multiple times how jealous I am.

I sat in the cheap seats for the game against Panama. They friggin' played Van Halen's Panama on the PA!

First draft never not in NYC was in Portland. I feel like that was a "You'll never host an ASG Party."

I like the jingle my balls make when I'm with your sister!

2014. Was a fun experience because a Swiss was drafted (Capela)
