He is like Dennis Dixon physically, his body type was not meant to have that much muscle on itIt's a good thing to want to be good, not bad. I think Travis is a pretty cool guy, easy going, friendly. I have even seen some signs near the end of the season here that he is going to show up and play for more than the 4th quarter, which I think is great. But what I would really like to see Travis do, is make the commitment to become a more physical player and round out his game. A guy at his height should way at least 235 pounds. He currently comes in at 206? You have to be kidding me.
Talk is one thing. Taking yourself to the next level of physicality would back it up.

you know how after the youtube video is done they automatically give you a few others to choose from? One of the first in this case is Batum just after draft day. On it he claims to want to be the best player on the court every time he plays. He says he wants his name to be mentioned amongst the top 3 in the league? Well then it's obvious why he's such a horrible team player sometimes. He wants to make a name for himself. Even though he has some amazing offensive talent, I just don't think he'll be content with coming off the bench for a loaded Blazer team in the coming years. I believe he's easily an all-star on some .500 East team and I don't blame him for wanting to prove he can be that guy. But sometimes, it kinda makes us worse.

It's tough to hear all the people on here bash Trav about this and that. I know it's about what you do on the court, but the city is lucky to have such a down to earth genuinely good person representing them. In spite of all the negative influences that surrounded him his first 2 years here! I hope he's with us for years to come. T.O. is a cool ass dude!

you're complaining about Travis's dunks!?! Good grief... does he put too much showy spin on his 40% 3 point shot as well?I didn't say there was anything wrong with wanting to be great. But Outlaw expresses that want way too much on the court and at the expense of the team. All the circus shots, unnecessary fancy dunks, unwillingness to pass, lack of energy on defense, all point to him being a selfish player looking for his own. Batum doesn't go out of his way to get attention from other teams. He tries to be the best player on the court quietly, and only when it's appropriate. He rarely takes a bad shot, and when he's being guarded well, he'll pass it up instead of shoot a long jumper with a hand in his face with 12 seconds on the clock.

Kevin Garnette came in at the same weight Travis is now and is 258 now. So as you were saying?
