OT Have You Ever Done A Road Trip In A "Rented" RV?

When I was 17 - a year after getting my driver's license - I went to England with my dad and brother. Dad rented an RV and tossed me the keys. I drove us around the country for a week, on the left side of the road mind you.

How I didn't kill us is still a mystery.

But it was a blast.

For the cost of one trip and rental of an RV with all the fees you could buy a used Toyota Sunrader with better gas mileage and still have shower and toilet. Much more stable crossing the Rockies than pulling a trailer in my view..last time I came back from Bend there was a truck pulling a trailer that flipped on the mountain pass in a very bad spot...those trailers can fishtail

If you have a weight distributions and sway bars set up, they are very manageable. Ive towed mine down the Columbia Gorge in big winds and it did fine just go a bit slower.

To me it's a lot of ballast to haul around and parking it is seriously limited....I prefer the class C rigs like the Toyota or a Minnie Winnie....glad you have a stable rig....semi trucks haul big trailers...just not how I'd like to travel

Id never drive anything with Minnie on it!

Id rather have Daffy Duck on the side of the RV than Minnie Winnie.

Here ya go...
