Exactly. Fuck, I hope RGIII is ready next year.

any doctors in the house (or athletes who know) what the point is of wearing a heavy brace when your knee can still twist around like that and get injured?

And BTW, Roddy White and Julio Jones are good, but we have the best secondary this millenium. Good luck Matty Ice.

Should be a fun game to watch.

No line is up yet for it, but it should be ~ -4 or -5 for Atlanta, with 3 of those points being for home field advantage.

that sounds about right. Even with the homefield, I don't see them getting to 6 or 7.

I am very concerned about this game. Seattle is playing so well right now. Oh, and the so-called home field advantage didn't account for much for the Falcons when Green Bay came a-visiting back in 2010. I had those same doubts surrounding that game, as well.

PS: The Pack won it all that season. Listen up, Seahawks.

Falcons destroy Seabitches 24/7-365.

Line is set at -2.

(-2, O/U 45.5), 100pm EST 1/13/13 - Fox TV. Weather not a factor; dome.

Vegas thinks the 'Hawks are for real.

Then take the OVER!

I think the Seahawks will take this. GO SEAHAWKS!

I like a lot of the match-ups in this game for Seattle.

Falcons have a nice team. Not a team built for a deep run in the playoffs though. Thats been their concern all year. Defense wins in the playoffs.

Agreed.

I've been saying all season that they are the worst (fill in their ongoing record here) team in the NFL.

And that is why I root for the Falcons this week. The hyperbole of a fanbase that has never won a thing amuses and irritates the hell out of me. Having said that, I think the hawks take this one. Atlanta has yet to prove their doubters wrong, let's hope next Sunday is the day they take that next step.

I'm sorry, I must've missed the secondaries that had every the strong safety, the free safety, one starting corner and the nickel corner all as Pro Bowlers, with the one corner who wasn't has only had 12 interceptions in 2 years.

NO ONE CARES ABOUT THE PRO BOWL!!!! EVEN THE PLAYERS DON'T WANT TO PLAY IN THAT GAME!!!! They are playing well right now, but to say they are the best of anything of the 'MILLENNIUM" is pretty far fetched.

Maybe 'cept that one time at Lambeau Field, led by a young dog killer.

Yea but that was a different team and a different time. Matty Ice needs to bring it and luckily he's got a few more weapons then a hobbled RGIII.

Great. So give me a better one. I'll wait.

Edit: You could conceivably make a good argument for the Bears this year. 2002 Bucs. 2004-5 Ravens. That's about it.

So then there are others, the Hawks are not THE definitive #1 of the past 14 seasons. Interesting. PS ... thanks for doing my work for me!

So you'll agree that the secondary is, without question or argument, in the same category as those 3? Doesn't seem far-fetched now, does it?

I'm not saying they are, because these guys are still very young compared to those other secondaries that have been doing it for years. They had a good season but I'm not ready to crown them the best of the millennium like an over zealous fan is. Let's see how they do the rest of the playoffs before we start calling them the best of the best.

I was confident we would beat the Redskins. I'm not nearly as confident against the Falcons. I think their WR's and Tony G will give us problems. Their defense doesnt scare me, so it could be a high scoring game. Losing Clemons is gonna really hurt, but Irvin stepped it up against the Redskins so hopefully he can do that again.

As good as Matt Ryan has been, he has yet to get a playoff win.

I don't know about that statement. How about fast running QB's like 49ers Colin Kaepernick? Packers defense along with their safety's couldn't catch him!
