Grandson say he is done with Charlotte, not going to live in that hole.

It seems not many arrests were made as a result of all the mischief that went down, some thing like 44, I read. Since a great many of the trouble makers were apparently from out of town, I would think the Black Police Chief would be more than anxious to round them up and square the score.

"This is not Charlotte that's out here. These are outside entities that are coming in and causing these problems. These are not protestors, these are criminals." BLM?

But it. it may not be the Chief's fault. Charlotte has a Democrat Mayor that needs a whole lot of the Black vote, 35% of the population. And She probably is a good soldier;

“So now Hillary says she is going to dismantle this system of white racism by talking to police and reminding them, ‘That is not who we are.’ Translation: Black people do not like it when black people are caught committing crimes. So stop arresting them.”

"Unlike Crutcher in Tulsa, Scott apparently was armed when police gunned him down. He reportedlyignored officers’ commands to drop his handgun.
But that didn’t stop a crowd of more than 200 protesters from gathering in the neighborhood where Scott was killed. They could be heard yelling, “Black lives matter,” and, “Hands up, don’t shoot!”

Some protesters threw rocks and bottles at police and damaged police vehicles. Some officers, in riot gear, fired tear gas to disperse the crowd. Sixteen police officers were injured, and at least seven civilians were taken to hospitals, according to officials.

Rioters also blocked Interstate 85 and threw objects at motorists. Someone set a fire that blocked lanes of traffic, and a nearby Walmart store was looted.

Flaherty told WND black-mob violence in Charlotte is an unfortunate tradition."

One young lad has decided he doesn't need anymore of this tradition.

If you look at the most livable cities in the world, they are fairly homogenous white or asian communities.

Don't think that's a coincidence.

Well, one thing you can say for Bandon - not a lot of race riots there.

What do the Cities that have had large scale riots or that have been set a fire by the local population have in common?

In case anyone's interested, England and Mrs. Dan live and work in the Charlotte area, and are safe and happy.

Is that like Captain and Tennile?

I would want to see pictures of grandson's apartment.

He wouldn't be the first college student to blow all of his money the first week of school on partying and then blame it on something else.

Interesting thought. However, I guess his dad is past that point right now. He thought he would buy this place to use while the kid was in school then recoup the money selling it later.
Now he is thinking he is probably screwed since apparently insurance does not cover riot damage. The place is totally fucked.

Perhaps you have an in with the BLM?

Have you seen pictures?

Has a police report been filed?

Is your son going to sell the place at a loss?

Has your son or grandson ever lived in Charlotte before?

Do I need to answer this questionnaire to get assistance from the BLM?

You should fly out there and ask BLM for assistance in person. I'm not sure if asking for it on a basketball forum will get you anything.

You are probably right. It's just that you seem so sure of their benevolence, I was sure you had an in some how.

But who are the out of towner's? Where does the BLM get all the money to move these quys around for a night on the town?

...the outsiders are better known as "agent provocateurs" -- this tactic seems to run rampant throughout most all major protests across the globe! :sigh:

Sometimes I feel like the threads Mar starts are just continuations of conversations he is having in his head.

He should just sue George Soros for bankrolling the entire protest.
