<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (NetsDaily)</div><div class='quotemain'>In a game that saw the Nets make a valiant, but ultimately futile, comeback, the Heat's summer league team beat the Nets' squad, 90-81 in Orlando. Michael Beasley who had dominated the Bulls' Tyrus Thomas and Joakim Noah on Monday couldn't get untracked against Sean Williams.</div>

Sean and Ryan owned. Sean owned Beasley. Sean's improved defense FTW! ...or L.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Marc D'Amico)</div><div class='quotemain'>The top performer for the Heat was Mario Chalmers, who finished with 19 points, nine assists, three steals and two rebounds. Anthony Morrow also added 19 and Kasib Powell finished with 17 points and five rebounds. Beasley’s miserable day ended with a stat line of nine points, five turnovers, seven fouls, seven rebounds, one steal and one blocked shot.

The Nets lost the game, but they had strong performances from their top two draft picks. Anderson displayed great touch from inside and outside, finishing with 18 points on 6-of-15 shooting along with seven boards. Brook Lopez had 18 points and seven rebounds while making 8-of-10 from the field.

The teams continue play tomorrow evening, when the Nets face Oklahoma City at 5 pm and the Heat face the Pacers at 7 pm.</div>

Orlando Magic Summer League Scores

Miami Defeats New Jersey; Chalmers: top performer

Miami Heat vs. New Jersey Nets boxscore

I think the best line-up on this team is probably:

Conroy
CDR
Anderson
Swat
Lopez

so do u guys think anderson, lopez, and cdr will get solid minutes under frank? im esp excited for anderson... after readin the column bout him losing weight it and always being the underdog... sort of reminds me of myself

I think they will. CDR will based on the sole factor we don't have any vet 2 or 3's and i dont think ager will contribute at all. Brook will def. get good minutes at the 5 being that he is our best off. big man, and hes a legit 7 footer with a big frame. Anderson will probably see minutes at the 3 and be rotating with Yi and Swat at the 4 depending on matchups ect.

out of the 3 rookies... my fave is ryan anderson
im rootin for all 3... but the most for ryan!

Anderson and Brook should be given the game balls for bring us back from 10 and putting us in the lead.

I'm surprised Brook got as many rebounds as he did, I don't remember him grabbing any to be honest.

I hope everyone is seeing how versatile offensively Ryan is.

We don't have any great PG propsects out on the floor. Conroy is a good (enough) passer, and Jaycee is good scorer, but if they had someone who could do both, better... Marcus? I guess we'll see in Las Vegas.

I really enjoyed Swat's performance today. He looks stronger, bigger smarter.
Hopefully he can get much much better by Oct 1 and be on the starting line-up.

I agree, i can't wait to see how much bigger he actually is. Looking through this feed just isnt cutting it lol. I can tell he's bigger i just can't determine by how much.

Swat made Beasley earn his 9 points and 5 TOs, and 7 fouls?

ya u dont foul out in summer league
just get 2 shots if the person with more than 6 fouls u

We have a rookie center who scored 18 points? Nah, this can't be the Nets.

I'm glad for SWAT. I think he can be great any day if he wants to be.

Richard Roby, a 6′-6″ shooting guard projected as a second round pick until he broke his hand in pre-draft camp–and Kenyon Martin’s half brother, will play for the Nets in the Rocky Mountain Revue, his agent announced Tuesday. Roby scored 17.9 ppg and shot 38.2 percent from three-point range for Colorado last season. He is Colorado’s all-time leading scorer.

from what I've seen - not much. But that was not my biggest worry about Sean. It was obvious Frank would not play him much if he plays goofball on D. I wanted Sean to pick up positioning and be smarter on both ends of the floor, but on D especially. It's hard to tell by 2 games whether Sean really picked up, but I saw some glimpses of a player who knows what he needs to do. Hopefully, Sean will continue his progress.

Actually, it's 10 fouls to foul out ...I remember Greg Oden fouling out last year, haha.

On another note, Sean and Brook don't box out at all. Very disappointing. They'll have to play alongside Josh or Nads (if we keep him) at all times.

Nice pics guys! Where do you get them?

they don't yet. But Frank will teach them
or maybe that was Cartwright... We should sign Jason Collins to coach our bigs whenever he retires.

i feel the same way. our offense is basically limited to the weave out high and a few pick and pops. if we had a penetrating gaurd on the summer league roster, anderson and cdr would thrive even more then they have been early on. Anderson is money on those pick and pops.

if he realizes his role in the NBA is as a defender, and not just a shot blocking dunker, he can really make something of himself

he's like floating in the second pic, must have snared a rebound

Im not usually his biggest fan, but Sean is so close to winning me over

OK, so hell never have KG post moves, but he has a chance to be absolutely detested by opposing teams. Look at that pic of him blocking Beasley. Beasley has a calm look on his face like he wasnt worried at all about getting blocked.

Second pic is awesome. Crystal clear. Not the slightest bit of blur... surprising for guys that are moving that much.
