I got indigestion during the 2nd quarter and turned on the DVR. I can't believe we won! :lol:

Also, one helluva great game thread. Most of y'all put in solid work. I went on a repping spree this morning reading through the last 5 pages or so.

Good job! Good effort!
 
It was frustrating to watch for sure. (Until the last 4 minutes)

Miami is an awesome defensive team. They can go small and get away with it because of James. They all move well with good hands.

On Defense I thought we did well except giving Bosh the open outside shots. I am sure Stotts "picked his poison" and Bosh was the voted least likely to beat us. That almost backfired but based on his previous games the last few weeks it was a good call. I kept thinking how we could have used more size in the game, but someone, like say Pekovic, would not have matched up well defensively on Bosh either. He still would of had those open shots unless we want our centers playing away from the basket. Miami is a tough match up. But I think it might help us prepare for GS tonight.

I can second this. If you look back to my comments. I know I said we would be making a grave mistake. Batum has not only shut me up, but completely won me over. I am so glad I was wrong.

Me as well. I was one of the people that wanted to trade Batum instead of giving him his $$$. I also wanted to draft Drummond and Austin Rivers. I am glad I am not the GM.

Yeah my buddy turned the game off after the 3rd quarter. I guess I would have hated that worse than not watching the game at all.

Different, but better. Now if only he could get the same discretion from the refs.

Nico is everything I thought he could be when I watched him as a rookie, before Nate got ahold of him.

We got him cheap.

No shame in wanting Drummond - I also wanted him (and still do). Rivers though? Good god!
(And I always knew Nic was our best player - but didn't know he was THIS best! I thought an increased scoring role would reduce his ability to do all the other little things that help us win - guess not!
 
Nic's scoring is probably the thing that has improved the least.
