<div class="quote_poster">Quoting deception:</div><div class="quote_post">I watched al gore's documentary film "the inconvenient truth" a month back and totally convinced that global warming is a critical issue since then. did u know that 38, 000 people died in the heat wave that swept Europe a couple a years back?</div>
Did you know that global warming a hoax scare tactic? They used the same thing with global cooling back in 1972. This time it's all about a big attempt to convince people that polluting makes the weather hotter when the truth is that it burns holes in the atmosphere, which makes UV rays more dangerous to our skin, wildlife, and the environment. It doesn't cause heat waves as that is caused by weather change in the sun's strength. The sun's current dispersion of more "active" materials is what's causing the world's temperature to rise. It's all a natural occurance that happens and in a few years from now people will forget all about it and find something new to worry about.
Still, either way it is a good scare tactic to prevent mass pollution worldwide from getting worse, but it doesn't cause global warming. Most of our records for the world's hottest days were actually set in the early 1900's. Times before that we actually had no records and people back then wrote of perfuse days of mass heat waves and death otherwise. The heat wave in Europe killed 38,000 people because only 1 out of 10 people have AC over there since prices are ridiculously high to afford and maintain one and the majority of deaths were the elderly who do not have AC in their retirement centers or homes. Also children of course, but that’s because they are more delicate to the environment than an adult.
As I've mentioned, all scientific mumbo jumbo that when you go into advanced study (which is boring as hell might I add) you learn about the truth. Then you figure out what's crap lies and what's factual. Anyway the current heat wave is crap. It's so damn hot some days that I can't even leave the house. As "
Bobcats" mentioned it's hard to go out for few without breaking a sweat. I can't imagine working outside in this heat and humidity though thankfully today we've felt much cooler weather in the Chicagoland area.
Oh and I find this funny; don't believe all temperatures you read on thermometers especially those near black top paving or sidewalks as they will always read higher than the temperature actually is. This is idiotically called the "blacktop factor". Remember that 96?F (36?C) can feel like it's higher with humidity. Plus when you're near a black top, sidewalk, etc it can make the temperature feel as though it's as high as 126?F (52?C). Depending on the temperature it can even feel hotter than that, but there is no way in hell it could possibly have reached 55?C in North America or Europe unless you live in Death Valley or any other low sea level environment like that.
I hope that information clears it up and prevents some of you from going nuts thinking there will be some massive global warming problem out to melt to ice caps and kill everyone. Anyone remember the comet scare? hehe. But anyway people, I hope you all have AC or something to cool off with. Be careful out there in the blaze.
