Heh, Oden's Presence Prompts Kings Team Bet

SACRAMENTO, CA - The Kings' Kevin Martin became a little bit richer Tuesday afternoon after collecting his $1,000 bounty for dunking on Portland Trail Blazer Greg Oden Monday night.

Martin earned the extra money with 5:28 remaining in the second quarter, during the Kings preseason game at ARCO Arena. He drove the lane, slamming the two-handed dunk over the 7-foot Oden.

"Mikki Moore (Kings forward) made a bet when we played them the first time, who ever dunked on Oden gets a $1,000," Martin told media during the Kings' practice Tuesday afternoon.

Moore delivered on his promise, delivering the cash at practice.

"I got a little richer," joked Martin.

Oden's about a step slow on that play. Regardless of what the Blazers and Oden says he's no where close to being back to 100% yet. I think we are seeing Oden at about 80-85%. He seems to have to gather himself before he jumps where as prior to the surgery he didn't.
