I'm currently deployed in Iraq and I have my Xbox 360 here and I just got NCAA Football. I want updated rosters but don't have the capabilities to log my system online. From what I'm seeing on websites, I have to go online with my system to download rosters.

My question is; Can I download rosters onto a thumbdrive and download them to my 360 via usb...and if so, does anyone know where I can find a site where I can download the rosters to said thumbdrive?

Help me.....I really don't want to kill my precious downtime plugging in names...lol

Thanks!!!

I don't think you can NNNM. But surely if you can download the Rosters from a Computer/Laptop you should be able to connect your Xbox to the interent?

thats the problem...I can't hook up to Live. The computer I currently use to log on is my work computer and I don't have admin rights to add software or programs. Hence my need to hopefully get my roster downloaded to a thumbdrive and added that way.

I wish it was simple for me here...but it isn't....:sigh:

Well you don't use a computer to get into live. Just unplug the ethernet chord that's going into your computer, and plug it into the back of your xbox.

I appreciate the help GMJ (niiiiice profile pics BTW...lol). But that is the issue I'm having. I can't plug the line going into the computer to my Xbox since I'm using my work computer in my office, a military computer. We are not authorized to government lines to download non-work related material. Maybe if I wasn't in Iraq I could get away with it, but here, the net is monitored very carefully and I don't want to take the risk of getting caught.:tsktsk:

ahhhh yes that would be a bummer.

Wouldn't S2 count as non-work material? Run NNNM!!!

lol....I can visit site that aren't blocked by our admin...but I can't plug in unauthorized and/or personal items into the military systems. ie; ipods and in my case my xbox...:dunno: it's considered a breach of security and since I work in an area when you need top secret clearance...it would be a bif no no for me to run my xbobx using thier lan-lines
