I still think that Penny Hardaway should be playing Point Forward, and allow Stephon Marbury and Jamal Crawford to feed of him. He is the New York Knicks best play maker in my opinion. He's a great passer and knows where to be offensively, I also think it would be best for the New York Knicks to use him downlow, because Penny Hardaway is actually one of the better posting Guards in the NBA, and with his size it is an automatic mis-match.
Though I'm not sure how good Penny Hardaway can be with Jamal Crawford and Stephon Marbury on the court with him, as they really tend to dominate the ball, so for now I don't mind him coming off the bench so long as he plays the minutes he needs to in order to help the New York Knicks win.
He is a calming influence on the team that's for sure, and for those idiots who thought Penny Hardaway couldn't help the New York Knicks then ............ whatever. He is a very skilled player, and I think playing as a Point Forward could do some damage, just take a look back when Scottie Pippen played Point Forward when he was with the Portland Trail Blazers, they went to the Conference Finals.
I'm not saying the New York Knicks are going that far, but they need to make some sort of changes, and the fact is the New York Knicks have won 3 from their last 6 which is better than 0 from 6. I also credit Herb Williams to play Penny Hardaway unlike Lenny Wilkens!
As for Tim Thomas 3.3 rpg man that's lame! There are PG's who get more rebounds than him. He does have skills but he is too inconsistent to have that SF position locked in as it is. Either start Penny Hardaway or Trevor Ariza, and use Tim Thomas off the bench, he just hasn't done much this season except that buzzer beater, lol.
