In AV's defense, he doesn't have many choices. The sad reality is this team is awful right now. There is no spinning it. What we saw in the pre-season has carried over to the regular season. Maybe it gets better as we move forward, we better hope so, but right now this is a terrible team. Period end of story.

Vigneault on his way to being the first coach in NHL history to get fired before even coaching a home game...his system is not meant for the talent level the Rangers have. Now maybe it's a little more clear why Torts (who was an offense-first coach in TB) became so defensive minded w/ the Rangers.
