From what it looks like what you need to work on most is text like most people. Just mess around with filters and blending options until you get something that looks nice. You should also ask some experienced gfx makers for some good fonts to get. Other things I notced were sig size and the bg's. Try and make your sig size 400x100 because that's usually peoples preffered size when they request sigs. As for the bg's I would suggest you learn to make bg's with less brushing. Try learning to make bg's with stock photos, gradients, lighting effects, and minimal brushing. When I make all my bg's I only use scratch brushes and splatter burshes for the bg.
