<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Wesley Autrey, who saved a teenager who fell on the subway tracks last week, turns out to be a huge Nets fan. The team got word of this from a producer of the "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," who contacted the Nets Friday to ask if they would provide the show with Nets gear to present to Autrey during his appearance Monday.

The Nets overnighted an authentic Jason Kidd jersey hand-signed by No. 5 himself, a team-signed basketball and a shooting shirt. In addition, the Nets are providing the subway savior with four season tickets for the rest of this season and for all of next season, and are also inviting Autrey and his family to be their special guests at Nets-Pacers Jan. 15. Autrey, a 50-year old Manhattanite, will be honored on the court, and visit the locker room.

"The Nets really want to express our admiration to Mr. Autrey for demonstrating such incredible character and courage," said Barry Baum, the Nets' VP of Business & Entertainment PR. "It's a pleasure for us to honor him and to show a true Nets fan how much we appreciate what he did."</div>
