I occasionally will look on craigslist for cars, or old trucks/vans. Just for shits and giggles mostly..

To those who do the same, have you noticed that people seem to have a really poor grasp on what something is worth?

For example, I saw a 65 Suburban with a primer paint job. The seller wanted 3500 bucks for it! One with a decent interior or at least a paint job, sure...but the one I saw was not worth it.

Makes me think they misplaced a decimal.

Craigslist is a good place to look if you think a 10% discount on secondhand items is a good deal.

Also, I don't doubt there are good cars (etc) to buy on craigslist...it's just when you find something that someone has inflated the value of.

I love Craigslist if for no other reason than 90% of the conglomerate companies absolutely hate it. STICKIN IT TO THE MAN
