Irony or not, I don't give a fuck. You want irony? How about the fact that Duck fans have complained for decades that Husky fans are "arrogant." I have a bit of news for you, we got NOTHING on Duck fans in the arrogance department. You'd think you're all the adopted sons of Phil Knight or something. It's a joke. The Duck program is a joke. And it's a matter of very little time before Washington takes over the NW Crown once again. Oregon wore the crown disgracefully. Time to give it back to it's rightful owner.

Rose Bowl Appearances:
Washington = 14 (3rd among Pac 10 and Big 10 schools)
Oregon = 4 (tied for 11th among PAC 10 and Big 10 schools)

Rose Bowl Victories:
Washington = 7 (3rd among Pac 10 and Big 10 schools)
Oregon = 1 (tied for 12th among PAC10 and Big 10 schools, and tied for 2nd to last in total rose bowl victories)

Why is there so much Anger? I remember feeling the same way about opposing teams when I was like 17.. but so much hatred is laughable.
 
But yes there was a bunch of irony in the post about living in the past. Oh well.

it would be nice to be ranked in the top 5 and have it be considered a down year and vulnerable :sigh: This place should be rockin though. You guys might hear us all the way up north :)

Phil would just hire him to be head coach of the new Eugene Raiders. Pete seems to be doing a good job with the pro football team he's currently running in LA.

What do you want me to say? It wasn't a "deal" as much as it was an event that occurred that I thought might have a direct impact on Ducks Football. The event already happened and I can't say anything more than that. At this point I was either mislead or there is a coverup. I am voting coverup!!! [insert tin foil cap smiley here] I have quit hitting refresh on Oregonlive, so if I were you I would probably quit waiting and move on with my life. If it comes to the light of day you will be able to see that I was in the know and if it doesn't then I will be yet another poster who thought he had the scoop and did not. MM -- do you want to start a support group!!!! :cheers:

That was both rude and impartial, and I won't stand for it!

Noise level, shmoise level. Barkley's deaf, so it doesn't matter. Also, we got tiny little ear pieces, so everyone can hear eachother, crowd noise won't matter a bit.

I had higher hopes for the Oregon media, and I do not want to be responsible for getting someone suspended, even if I am a Beavers fan. Oh and then there is the potential defamation lawsuit if I say anything. Sorry for my lameness.
