I watched that movie Margin Call last night. Sure does make one think.

I'm interested to see this movie. I have friends of mine who are I-bankers and who say that the movie captures the monotony and the lack of shared information inherent in the industry.

They were bandying about million dollar figures like they were nothing. Many of them admitted they knew nothing about the business. The decisions at the end were abhorrent, IMO.
 
The label "Hippie" denotes one who is acutely aware, on the cutting edge of enlightenment, and more informed than most.

Actually, the label "hippie" denotes "a person whose behaviour, dress, use of drugs, etc, implied a rejection of conventional values"

i think i had the chance to watch it, but I'd imagine a lot of it is an exaggeration of what really happened.
