Only 17% of registered voters under the age of 30 voted last election...of course there was not a great choice but still...until young people make the effort we are stuck with bad choices

I think this is by design.

Just look at all the Republican efforts to stop people from voting.

Not really. The Deep State was supposed to be the career people who where there before Trump. This is a hand-picked Trump appointee. This is not the Deep State, this is the Creep State.

The Deep Shit.

I didn't say they shouldn't be able to vote, I'm saying if someone believes every nut bar conspiracy about Clinton, admits that they don't pay attention/care/haven't voted in the past, I'm fine with them not voting.

No where did I say they shouldn't or that we should make it so they can't.

I watched the View this morning. Now I know Whoopi is way more funny than you guys.
But Wow! Now she is proving to be smarter too!
She says she smells something bad here, something rotten going on!

Ha!
And the pitty party will flop!

Joe likes people with far-out ideas. It’s why he’s a good comedian- he explores all corners of topics. But that also leads him to believe in wrong ideas and be friends with people who are conspiracy theorists. Joe used to believe the moon landing was a hoax, he believed in com-trails and in Bigfoot. All ideas he later worked through and now does not believe. But he loves wacky people and wacky ideas. He has been friends with Alex Jones for ages and his best friend Eddie Bravo is a fun-loving nut job of the highest order.

Joe overall has a wonderful message of growing and expanding and especially of working positively with your friends to help everyone succeed. He has some fascinating guests and a lot of them have wonderful minds and a lot to add. But he also has many friends and guests that are incorrect.

When you hear something a guest says on the podcast and it interests you, it’s probably a good idea to read alternate points of view and give those ideas similar weight.

I am not a big Hillary supporter. In the election I held my nose and voted for her but I was very disappointed with my options. I don’t trust her and I don’t trust Bill. But the email thing is a red herring started by right wing conspiracy people and then picked up steam. But there were 4 separate investigations and plenty chances and motivations to prosecute if they had any actual proof. They did not.

But I’ve just turned the topic away from the topic of this thread so I’ll stop going down this rabbit hole.
I will go ahead and let you think this one. Crazy

...no problem, no foul, Jules, but I can understand what you were trying to say.

Oooh, now I’m scared!!

If you want to make a real threat, be a man and go for it. Otherwise take your veiled threats and shove them up your ass.

You, sir, are part of the problem.
Are you talking to yankeesince59? I ask because my ass says to steer clear of you no matter how interested you might be.

You left out misogynist.

And trust me, everyone knew he is a racist. That's why many people voted for him. He was going to put the Mexicans and blacks in their place.

BNM
Let's not leave out Arabs.

In all seriousness, the op-ed is talking to people like our pals @MarAzul and @MARIS61. It's up to the GOP base to get that this is so serious that it has become above partisan politics. 25th Amendment is seriously being discussed.

Not sure about Marz but I'm not a member of the "GOP base" whatever that is.

But "in all seriousness", this is fake news.

Naw. I voted once for Bill Clinton. Could not vote for McCain. I am please to have voted for Trump. He doing as close to what he said he would as any president in my life time.
I can say, I sure as hell am not a Democrat or a socialist.

Joe Rogan is disappointed in you, that you couldn't marshal a single reason why Further's analysis was incorrect or incomplete.

Well one thing very unpresidential about this story...what president leaves documents of international importance and top secret content on his desk unattended to? How could a president be that fucking careless with sensitive materials?

What an absurd post.

The President's Oval Office, the entire White House and it's grounds and additional buildings, are more than secure enough.

If the supposed author actually exists as a Deep State Obama holdover in our government, she is a traitor/spy obviously working to overthrow our current President's administration, which could lead to the death penalty.

The nonsensical claims in the supposed op-ed have already been dismissed as lies and NYT ridiculed and slammed as Fake News by CNN, The New Yorker, and nearly every other major news organization left or right.

Either NYT has sealed their fate as a thoroughly disgraced tabloid, or they have proven the Deep State exists and is a serious threat to our Republic.

Either way it's a huge wound to the Dem's fast-fading hopes of not losing more seats in November.

Freedom of speech is an important pillar of our nation’s founding principles and a free press is important to our democracy. The press should be fair, unbiased and responsible.

Unidentified sources have become the majority of the voices people hear about in today’s news. People with no names are writing our nation’s history. Words are important, and accusations can lead to severe consequences. If a person is bold enough to accuse people of negative actions, they have a responsibility to publicly stand by their words and people have the right to be able to defend themselves.

To the writer of the oped — you are not protecting this country, you are sabotaging it with your cowardly actions.

First Lady Of The United State, Melania Trump

Where are presidents supposed to keep documents? Up their butt? The president's personal desk in a guarded room in a guarded building seems like an alright place for documents. The real issue is trusted appointees stealing important documents off the president's desk. That should be huge news no matter who is in office, but the media has a puppeteers hand up it's ass. The same media outlets that were trying to convince us Edward Snowden and Julian assange need to be hung from the neck until they are dead for doing the same type of shit.
