Hilarious newsbit of the day: Coach Damon

Great for Damon. Even though he made some mistakes during his career, I was always a fan of Damon. I think he'll make a solid asst. coach.

Darius Miles: "Hey, yo, Coach... how much for an ounce!?"

Just remember, Darius... DO NOT take any pointers from him about tryin' to get the shit through the airport! :drumroll:

:pimp:

Karma is having a fun time paying back the Grizzlies.

Man, for a team that supposedly hates the Blazers, they sure like guys that have worn or coached the Scarlet & Black.

Next thing you know, they're signing Ruben and Bonzi, and possibly plucking Ha and Boumtje-Boumtje from wherever they are.
And with all that cap space, the only guy who is willing to sign is Sheed this summer so he can be with his buddies again.

And this is how you hide your stash!

With the tiny PGs Memphis has in Conley and Lowry, hiring a similarly sized ex-player at that position is a pretty good move.

Especially if they need somebody to show them how to pound nails into the hard-wood near mid-court! :ghoti:

FUCK Damon. One of the blazers (along with Miles) who I despised having on this team. Whiny ass bitch who would cry in the playoffs that Greg Anthony would finish games.

Based on his maddening game and myopic offcourt whining/finger pointing, he was easily my least favorite Blazer. But honestly I have no idea whether he'd make a good coach or not and wish him the best as I would anyone else... so good luck to Damon.

Hoosiers via Damon Stoudamire:

1. Twenty dribbles before a shot
2. When it comes to this team, my word comes ahead of applicable drug laws
3. Assistant coaches must not be sober

They already tried Bonzi, and that (predictably) ended in disaster with them kicking him off the team during the play-offs.

Of course, these days, the time they made the play-offs and kicked Bonzi off the team is probably considered the "good old days" for this sorry franchise that has only won more than 28 games three times and has never won a single play-off game - let alone a play-off series.
