Politics Hillary Clinton is a fucking loser

I've been angry for two years about Hillary being anointed the Democratic candidate. The small consolation in all of this mess is that the Clinton name will forever be stained by losing 12 (and possibly 16) years to two guys with half a term of senatorial experience between them. The stench of incompetence and failure that was (unfairly, IMO) attached to Jimmy Carter has a new home, in the much more justly deserving legacy of Hillary Clinton.

I'm through denial, bargaining and depression. I think I'll be stuck on anger for a long time--not with voters or the Republicans or even Trump. I'm just really angry that the Democratic party forced me into voting for Clinton when I really didn't want to--I really didn't want a Clinton back in the White House, and (obviously) a lot of Americans agreed with me. I voted for her because I was backed into voting for a dynasty. I disagree with those who chose Trump instead, but I think I get it.

We'll never know what other candidates might have emerged besides Bernie Sanders if the Clintons (and the complicit DNC) hadn't sucked all the oxygen out of the room two years ago. Elizabeth Warren? Somebody else? We'll never know.

Forget about all the ugly things Trump has said for a minute and just realize that after 8 years, the people always want to vote for change. Only one party was selling it. The other party was selling the same tired product they've been peddling since 1992. It didn't have to be that way, and you can thank the Democratic Party, not Trump, for that.

For my part, that's the biggest pile of self-important windbaggery I have read in a long time. And here's why:

There is so much that is obnoxious about this. From the "I couldn't come up with nicknames" so therefore they're not funny (plenty have, and yes they are - recognize when you don't have a sense of humor) to the actual use of "shrill" in an article about Hillary Clinton.

Other lovely nuggets:
Notice that his two winning candidates are... old white men! Wonder why he thinks they would've succeeded? Surely not because the voters are misogynist.
And all that stuff about the press supporting Clinton? Has the man watched TV? Trump got a MILLION HOURS of coverage. (WAY more than Bernie, that other "progressive") And the email bullshit NEVER ENDED!
Also, the voters think they want someone to break the system so you offer... Joe Biden!? He's meant to be an outsider? Oh, that's right "he speaks plainly." That and the "we need to understand the Trump voter" - like the Trump voter is an abused foster-kid who is just acting out.

He talks like there weren't primaries on the Democratic side. There were. Bernie was there. Yes the Democratic establishment didn't like him, but why should they? He wasn't even a fucking Democrat until the day before he announced. And he's from VERMONT. Guess why he lost, as even he admitted, fair and square - because African American voters never warmed to him, and they are a HUGE part of the base. But I guess they don't matter because this whole election is about running round little Willie White Working Class trying to placate his tantrum?

Guess who else was actually pretty jazzed about Hillary (at least until the Giant Outrage Machine finally ground enough edges off)? Women. Oh, but we actually meant white working class MEN. Sorry.

So what this Frank guy actually wanted is for the Democratic party to be MORE Machiavellian and LESS Democratic and MORE pandering to white men. Well, maybe they WOULD have won, but it wouldn't have been because they suddenly "took a sledgehammer to the machine" - it would've been because they were a more effective machine.

But some oddities are a lot cheaper. DVDs and CDs (I know, would help ten years ago but I still use 'em). And bread, of which there is a huge profusion. Little bakeries on every high street where you can buy sticky buns, lardy cake and jam filled doughnuts RULE. Also: tea bags in vast variety (and not herbal bullshit, real tea) and vast bulk for dirt cheap. Without the stupid tampon strings on them, because you're going to be using them in a teapot like a civilized person.

Also: healthcare is a fuck of a lot cheaper unless you're super rich and funding everyone else, in which case there's an easy solution - give your money away.

You must be really mad that your new Attorney General in waiting is focused like a laser on talking about nothing else than her emails, so you will get to hear her voice a LOT. That's a great use of public money, isn't it? I'm sure it will end differently from the 17 billion other bullshit investigations the Right have thrown at the Clintons in their little tantrums over the past decades.

For the record, I considered Obama my president even though I preferred Gary Johnson. I opposed much of his policy but also applauded some of it, particularly when it came to not spending money and furthering individual liberty.

Why will Hillary be stained for losing to another (he beat her because he's more liberal) Democrat? She cost Democrats 4, not 12, years of the presidency. Add that to the 1990s, and the Clinton name won a net of 4 years...it didn't lose 12-16 years as you say.

Many presidential candidates have lost twice. Big deal. As for incompetence, she's plenty competent. Just too conservative for Democrats' taste.

Not really. Trump's 2016 total, so far, is over 700,000 votes less than what McCain drew in 2008 — and more than 1.7 million less than what Romney drew four years ago. Trump just had the advantage of running against an opponent that even her own party didn't like very much.
