4-6 Weeks is essentially the rest of the regular season + the First Round (if we are fortunate enough to advance).

Remember last season when we were really healthy? That was cool.

I sure do.. It's all good though next year is the year. Let's just continue to develop cj, give him decent minutes in the playoffs, with wright out for awhile let's give Crabbe decent minutes as well and just get ready for next year..

We're in the playoffs. Lets just see what happens.

Just to ease everyone's minds the mod staff here is 100% healthy and ready for the playoffs.

On the bright side that will just make even more excuses for us if we loose in the playoffs.

Had a similar break a few months ago. It sucked. Are the Blazers the unluckiest NBA franchise? Thoughts?

Batum captures loose balls by keeping his arms and fingers extended on defense. Recently in Batum's absence, Wright began this style, no longer just staying in his own little territory. I had assumed the assistant coaches advised him to copy Batum. Wright sticking out his fingers was very noticeable to me.

Now, his finger gets hurt, and posters note the team's recent tendency of hand injuries. Maybe this new team style is the cause. Watch Wright (#1 in white uniform) guarding first Turkoglu, then Deandre Jordan, with his hands and fingers stuck way out, then holding his own hand.

As for the video, great find as usual, Haak. Hack and I go way back. I taught him everything he knows.

What a pleasure it was to watch Bill Walton and Bill Russell play defense. They, too, kept their arms and fingers extended, harassing everyone around them, occupying large swathes of territory, playing bigger than they were. And keeping their center of gravity low, as Batum and now Wright do. As I have posted, Wright had some fine first halves in Batum's absence, making Batum look expendible.

Good thing we have Claver, or else we'd have to play some little guy like Afflalo at small forward. Batum can't play extra minutes or he won't be ready for international games.

The med staff should put a metal splint and wrap to conceal then he could use it as a weapon when an opponent comes back in the 4th Q. 70's Raiders did that.
