8-4 after tonight

Let's have a wager Mixum. If the Blazers win this game, you will have to post that I am the greatest poster you have ever met and you should never doubt me again. If the Hawks win, I will humbly say that you are right about this team and I wish I had the same vast knowledge as you.

Wanna wager?

lol sure maggs! i will glady do that if the blazers win.

also stay tune for mixums yearly prediction!

I love how four of the teams ranked above us have less wins. Also Lakers have had about 72,000 home games so uh...WTF OVER?

Okay so it's a friendly wager then. I will post immediately after the Blazer game if they lose. If they win, post immediately after okay?

deal... but it wont be till later tonight... i have to dvr the game

Looks like the Power Rankings (AKA "What have you done lately") list looks accurate to me. Looks like a good time to bring Atlanta back down to earth with a loss at home!

8th? seriously? That's weak.

Well in all truth, what have the Blazers done this year that they didn't do last year? It's still the same old thing. Beat the teams they should beat, lose to the teams that are better. Until the Blazers start beating quality teams on the road, they are no better off than last year, and are probably a 1 and done playoff team.

Hell, we haven't even really beat quality teams at home (aside from the home opener against Houston). 8th place seems pretty reasonable considering the teams that are ahead of them.

Tonight would be a good start, plus it would involve some payback on Atlanta.

Portland is 22 out of 30 teams in strength of schedule. That is why we are as low as we are.

Again, perspective.

And that won't change until December, given the incredibly soft November schedule we have remaining.

Ya, the middle part of our schedule is brutal. The front and back end of the schedule is pretty easy....on paper anyway.

Yeah I will do that as well. If I lose I will post that in my signature for the entire season.

well not so much you... I mean Mixum since we'll win tonight!
