Well, this is a nice development, and would be a pretty good acquisition now that Carroll is overseas. It'd be a nice low risk/high reward type of thing, especially with our need for a backup wing

Without Carroll his odds are better at making the team.

I'd like to see Livingston and him duke it out in camp for a roster spot, but I think Livingston will get a one year guarantee and he probably won't be in shape at the start of camp either.

I wouldn't mind both Livingston and Hodge on the team. One of them or both of them won't be in a uniform for most of the games (except if others are injured of course) , but it would be nice to have depth there. I'd still say Livingston is a good enough PG with a bit of SG, but not exactly a combo guard. Same with Hodge, though his PG skills are much less.
If/when we move KVH, Hassell, Ager, Sean or Boone, we can pick up another big, and then we'd be good.

Think Will Conroy. He played well in Orlando. Not a great shooter, but otherwise a fine third guard.
