O Rly?

Tell the black folks that Red Lobster sucks. I dare ya!

I think I heard Bourdain mention something along these lines:

Nowadays, the wealthy get in line to eat tripe, organ meats, and previous throw-a-ways...while the poor get in line to eat Red Lobster.

and Red Lobster sucks a fat cock. I'm not a fan of Lobster to begin with, crab is so much better.

Screen Door: worff it or not? hipsters standing in line for soul food! :MARIS61:

Clay's Smoke House on SE Division. Best Happy Hour food specials in town. Grubbin' South Carolina style BBQ!

You ever ate fresh lobster in New England? Lobster is the shit!

Nope! Don't think so at least. I've had plenty of lobsters though, just not my steeze. I find dungeness and king crab so much better.

The lobster catch was huge this year. Lobster hasn't been this cheap in 20 years.

where to go for lobster in PDX then? I find even the "poor man's lobster" (monkfish) done better in most preparations.

Fresh lobster isn't even comparable to the stuff that Red Lobster has or the tails you can buy in a supermarket.

Not.

Even.

Close.

Poor man's lobster is crayfish.

Some say that its better than lobster. I agree, but you get more bang for your buck with lobster.

If you like Crawfish, go to Po Shines over on Denver by the Dancin' Bare. They have a crawfish boil once a month. Bomb diggity.

I had bomb ass crawfish in NOLA. We used to get them in Vernonia in the Nehelem River and cook them at home. good shit.

i've had a bunch of fresh lobster at high end restaurants. used to get comped everything in vegas back in the day and we'd always order the entire menu of fresh shit. just don't find it that flavorful compared with other seafoods and its much more expensive so I stay away from it.

Anyone been to The Parrish? My cousin reco'd it for oysters for happy hour.

Giant Burger. Boones Ferry Road in the Grove.

I need some Geoduck next time i'm in PDX. Probably chinese preparation...any recos?

So ironic that every day as a driver on my first route I pass by PapaG's vegan deli. Never deliver there though, they must go through Fedex.
