ESPN’s John Hollinger thinks Yi Jianlian improved after his awful performance against Team USA in the Olympic opener, “most notably in the key win over Germany that put China into the quarterfinals” but overall “he had a disappointing tournament” Hollinger also points out that in 180 minutes, he had just one assist. In the final Olympic stats, Yi finished fourth in rebounds, at 7.5 per game, but fortieth in scoring at 9.0.

I really think John Hollinger didn't watch Yi at all, if this is all he had to say about Yi. Yay.

So there were no positives of his play in the Olympics?

Don't need to read the Hollinger article. Let me summarize.

ALL FOREIGN PLAYERS SUCKED.

Seriously, that's pretty much all he said. Anyone that wasn't on team USA can go bite a crotch.
