QUOTE

John Hollinger, writing for ESPN, admits surprise that Richard Jefferson’s ankle is actually okay and calls him one of the season’s early surprises. He also labels Vince Carter and Nenad Krstic as among the biggest disappointments, saying the Nets better hope Carter’s early season woes are due to his sore thumb. Hollinger also misquotes Krstic as saying his knee is only “80 per cent”. Krstic was actually referring to his overall performance, not his knee which he has said is fine.

Early-season play features many surprises

Of course, he is King Jefferson.

Jefferson is beasting it up. He excels perfectly in the princeton offense unlike Carter. Krstic is just rusty as for now.
