Great idea Hammer.
I've always said, and knew from the time I was a kid, going to Minor Lg. games, is an entirely different (for the better in ways), for kids to feel closer to the game in many respects:
its very easy to obtain autographs of the Players, who are usually openly free to sign for kids, esp kids.
The Mgr's & Coaches are often retired MLB Players, like Nettles, Hough, J. Clark, Ryno, and tons of others, are also easy to obtain autographs in the Minor Lg Fields, where the same player in His Prime and on a MLB Diamond, were impossible to obtain autographs.
All seats are much closer to the fields, and on field chatter, and dugout talk, on the field talk b/t players, ensures one feels more in the game, than a mere spectator. Or so that's my experiences with Minor Lg. Games/Teams vs MLB games/Fields....
Much smaller parks make for a closer knit family of Fans and Players alike....
